The only thing I would like to not in my garmin nuvi 370 review in a negative way, is that I found a few times in less popular places, that it would calculate a route that wasn’t exactly the shortest… this was very uncommon through the time since I have bought it, and perhaps there are reasons it calculated the routes like this, but I just had to find something to say bad about this near perfect gps unit!

The language and points of interest (POI) were incredibly useful features as I traveled unfamiliar territory, and totally enhanced our vacation experience! Oh and I thought of another slightly imperfect factor – the text to speech and turn by turn voices were always done with the right pronunciation, I guess the garmin 370 robot lady isn’t as perfect at memorizing as I hoped!

The nuvi 370 did come preloaded with all the American and European maps and worked instantly out of the box for everything I wanted to try it out with as I took a trip around the city for the first time, with me quickly and easily setting it up and using it.

Accuracy compared to other seemed to be in the nuvi 370’s favor, with really strong and fast accuracy noted over a MIO and garmin street pilot (older model forget the name) that I have used.

You fall in love with the super bright touch screen quickly, and will find yourself very conscience of making sure there is no grease or dirt on your fingertips before playing with your new precious gps system

Like the above review said it does have some kind of troubles with different languages as my wife likes to point out ** fluent in 6 languages ** when it slightly mispronounces a street name… isn’t such a big deal though, and the mere task of programming the speech to fit all the languages with different accents and words is incredible in itself, I will let that flaw go while my continues to feel like a superior linguist over the cheaply priced gps system gizmo that makes her jealous

It’s really my favorite that I have used, preferring it even over the more expensive ones we own/owned. It has never failed to get me where I need to be as quickly and easily as possible, and has a host of features that make it superior to some of the lower end crap.

The blue tooth option is a strong and nice convince, and although I haven’t used it yet I plan on grabbing a newer cell phone in the very near future and taking advantage of that feature as well. All and all, it has the best price tag on a gps model with these equipped features right now, is very fundamentally strong and solid at what its supposed to do, and gives you tons of added bonuses, tools and pleasures to increase your driving experience beyond just saved gas money, time and frustration.

Lucy is great folks, her really bright and touch sensitive screen make our lives very simple and enjoyable as we travel with her. Besides a somewhat dismal battery life. She is great at reciting books for the children during late night drives and is very musically talented. We decided to get a twin clone of her for the husband’s vehicle, and choose her as the superior leader over the internal navigation system of the hubby’s expensive SUV. Lucy is the British female voice option from the garmin nuvi’s personality options, and we truly appreciate having her around.

I highly recommend this unit for people that don’t need all the super expensive features of the 700+ dollar gps systems, its truly accurate, precise and easy to use and will have you falling in love with driving and traveling again rather then it feeling like a dull bored chore.

Get this and you won’t regret it I’m sure, I could go on for hours talking about Lucy’s amazing skills, but I feel like going shopping now for some accessories for her!!!!!!
