Garmin Nüvi 200 Series:

Garmin Nüvi 300 Series:

Garmin Nüvi 600 Series
This is another ‘middle’ class series with the larger and more vivid 4.3 inch touch wide-screen. The extra screen size and resolution make it very attractive and appropriate for the consumer that will be taking it along for the ride quite often and putting in many many miles of usage.
Garmin Nüvi 700 series
The ‘premier’ lineup if you will, the garmin nuvi 700 series gps systems are very high end items, with respective and cutting edge features not yet found on most of the best selling systems. Not expensive, but definitely a worthwhile purchase if you are going to be constantly using your new personal travel companion:
Differences between X50, X60 & X60 models
Garmin Nüvi X50 GPS untis:
These are the series standard units. The provide all core functionality but are lacking in some of the more advanced extras such as Bluetooth hands free connectivity, Traffic Receivers, MSN Direct (Garmin nuvi 680), and Preloaded transatlantic data. Recommended for people traveling within 48 continental US states without need for missing features.
Garmin Nüvi x60 GPS untis:
Stepping up from the x50 models, these come with added bluetooth connectitivity, further map coverage for North America, and a few other features. Recommend for people travelling often that want more then just the 48 continental US states
Garmin Nüvi x70 GPS untis:
This is the ‘transatlantic’ option and adds upon the x60′s core features mainly with the addition of preloaded data for Europe. The price to upgrade lower units with the same data is much more expensive then that of the 270/370/370 upgrade, and as such anyone planning to or with the future potential to take their Nuvi overseas are highly recommended to take one of these options over their little-brother counterparts

Compare Garmin Nuvi 200 VS 370:
Downgrading to the Garmin Nuvi 200 model, you let go of Transatlantic map data most predominantly with coverage only for 48 continental US states, blue-tooth, move to a slim form factor design (internal antenna) and get rid of audio book / mp3 player. You save a whole bunch of money though for this basic ‘entry-level’ unit
Compare Garmin Nuvi 250 VS 370:
Moving to the Garmin Nuvi 250 gps, you will skip out on coverage for Europe trips (external upgrade @ about $250 if you decide to go later), mp3 / audiobook player, blue tooth, FM receiver, although get the hot slim form factor design and save quite a bit of cash as well.
Compare Garmin Nuvi 270 VS 370:
Choosing the garmin nuvi 270 GPS you will keep your ability to travel to europe, loose the bluetooth, FM receiver, mp3 player and a few other smaller features while save some money with the slim and sleek looking ‘entry level transatlantic capable’ system
Compare Garmin Nuvi 350 VS 370:
The Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS is the most popular on sale right now, and it combines both value with its cheap prices with the standard features available in the market, switching to the 350 you will loose the Preloaded European data ($200+ value) and bluetooth most noticeably, but if you don’t plan on using the hands-free calling features or ever traveling to Europe with your nuvi 350, its a great and popular choice for people comparison shopping.
Compare Garmin Nuvi 360 VS 370:
These ones are almost identical, although the garmin nuvi 360 cashing in cheaper it doesn’t contain the preloaded transatlantic maps and POI databases. If you think you may be traveling in the future to Europe and around north america, take note that upgrading the 360 to contain the data that garmin nuvi 370 is more expensive then the direct unit upgrade.
Compare Garmin Nuvi 650 VS 370:
Moving up to the Garmin Nuvi 650 you are starting to get into the larger widescreen models. When you compare the garmin nuvi 370 with the 650 you are giving up some of the extra features such as euro-readiness, bluetooth, FM receiver and a few other minor features. The garmin nuvi 650 is the core and basic model for the bigger and beautiful widescreen units, and it an appropriate upgrade for people that will be traveling alot within the USA with no real plans of going overseas.
Compare Garmin Nuvi 660 VS 370:
Probably the second best selling gps system avaiable, the garmin nuvi 660 what one would call the jack of all trades. Giving you the larger 4.3inch widescreen over the nuvi 370, and keeping all the addon features minus the preloaded transatlantic map data
Compare Garmin Nuvi 670 VS 370:
The garmin nuvi 670 is very much just the equivalent of the garmin 370 gps, only differing in the fact the 670 sports the larger and slightly more vivid 4.3inch widescreen panel.
Compare Garmin Nuvi 680 VS 370:
The garmin nuvi 680 adds MSN-Direct into the mix over the 670, and that proves to be a very nice addition for people, although the coverage isn’t supported in many places and its recommended that you check if you’re in an msndirect capable area if you are thinking about buying garmin’s MSN-Direct capable system.
Compare Garmin Nuvi 750 VS 370:
The new Garmin Nuvi 750 is the basic ‘premier 7XX series’ PTA, skipping out on bluetooth capability, FM traffic receiver and the preloaded European maps over the Garmin 370 gps. Bonus additions over the 300′s are the new slim form factor, internal powerful antenna and an oh so cool appearance with the stylish casing and the very impressive high resolution wide touchscreen! A bunch of new features exist in the new 700 series units, so check out some stuff on garmin’s nuvi 750 gps for a better taste of whats new and exciting!
Compare Garmin Nuvi 760 VS 370:
Like the Garmin Nuvi 260 / 360 / 660 counterparts, the advanced features of the x70 are all in place with the removal of preloaded and thus euro-ready data. The newest of all, the garmin nuvi 770 gps is the ‘upper class’ equivalent of the ‘middle class’ nüvi-370.
